Check the connections at the starter, and at the battery. If they are good, remove the starter and have it bench tested at an Auto Parts Store.

Why does a 1986 f-150 pickup just click if it would not start and you replaced the starter solenoid and both battery cables and everything is hooked up as it was before it broke?

try changing the battery, your battery might be bad you never know, it might not hold a charge The starter relay needs to have good contact. Even though it may click, the contact is dirty and not good enough to transmit strong electrical power to the starter. Change the starter relay which is connected to the positive cable to the battery. Do not confuse the starter solenoid with the starter relay.

Why does Saturn appear squashed?

becuase of its rings

You changed your alternator and battery Starter was bad you believe but tested good Now car won't crank as if the battery is not strong enough What could be the problem?

Bad connectins at battery? Clean connections. Possible loose battery cables on starter or engine block? Clean and tighten cables. If no help, possible bad battery cable/cables. Test cables and replace as necessary. Depending on what type of car, also investigate starter cylinoid. Hope that helps.

Cranking slow can be caused by a weak starter, dirty or failed battery cabled

Can someone live on Saturn?

No, because Saturn's surface temperature is 285° F (-175 °C), and if you ask me, that's too cold. Also Saturn's winds are too strong.

Your car will not turn overthe battery is strong and the alternator is working could the starter just need to be tapped or should you replace it It has never given any signs of going out?

Chances are the starter solenoid has developed a bad spot. If you are handy you could try to replace just the solenoid otherwise it may be time for the starter/solenoid combo.I assume you have checked your battery cables.

The car has a strong battery power but does not start is it the starter?

it's easy to check the solenoid, put a screw driver across the large nut & the smaller one, and if the starter engages it's the solenoid .make sure the vehicle is in park, or the e- brake is on. ( with key on)
