to clean the heater core, which you have a 40/60 chance of it working, these are the steps : 1: undo the coolant lines coming from the heater core which will be connected to the heater control valve,undo them from the valve so that you can use the hoses for easy access to the heater core.2: take an air compressor with the blower attachment and put it into the inlet line and block the return line for moments at a time.3: pour rubbing alcohol with water into the inlet line and block off both lines for about 20 minutes.4:undo the blocked line and put a hosepipe into the inlet line and flush it till the return line looks clean. ive done this a million and 1 times and if the heater core can be cleaned this is the best way, josh

Do you mean the heater CORE? If so it is located passenger side, firewall, inside the cabin.
Coolant 'sensor' for EEC purposes is near front coil on heater core hose going to thermostat housing. It's a two wire connector.

The heater coil is located behind the dash board. You will have to remove the dashboard to get at the heater coil
