Answer: The same way you would clean most carburetors. First clean the exterior to minimize dirt. Spray some GUNK on it and hose it off if necessary. Next remove the clean carb from the bike by taking loose the 2 front manifold nuts and loosen up the rear connection to the air cleaner rubber boot. It is a little tricky getting the carb off easy but by bending the rubber air cleaner boot around you can eventually slip out the CRF 150 carb. You can spray some Armor all or silicone in the boot to make it slippery. Next disassemble the carb piece by piece making note of how it all goes together- take pictures or make drawings if need be. By unscrewing the top cap you can pull up the throttle cable and the slide and leave it hanging on the bike-spray it clean as it hangs or disassemble it later. You have to disconnect the fuel line too. Clean all the ports, holes, bowl, everything, with spray carb cleaner in both directions, use "Q" tips and clean paper towels and blow out all passageways with air in both directions. Be careful not to shoot carb cleaner in your eyes when firing down a blind hole!! You can put all the little parts and screws in a jar and soak them in carb cleaner too. Shake the jar with lid on for ultrasonic effect. Once you have it all apart and everything clean, dry the parts and reassemble in reverse order. You will need to reset the idle speed screw and put the jets/needles back the same as they were. If you take apart the slide and needle make a note of where the clip is fastened to put it back the same. The float should close when it is almost level with the carb body. If it wasn't leaking before leave it alone as it should be O.K.. You learn to do these by doing them so grab a couple tools and give it a try. It is alot easier than it seems. I just did my daughter's 2006 CRF 150 without a manual, but I have done carb cleanings and rebuilds for many years so it was no trouble. Our trouble was some problem with the vacuum switch on top the carb that prevents popping but also causes rough idle when it doesn't work right. I just capped off all those hoses for now and it runs fine. Good luck.
