There are at least three ways. The first one is the easiest, you have to bring the car to your mechanic. The second one is if you have a computer error code reader you can clear the computer memory. And the third one is to disconnect the battery for at least 5 minutes. It resets the computer and erases all codes from its memory.
Please, make sure that you have a reason to reset codes. If you don't pay attention to the codes in approximately 200 miles the light will come on again. It will repeat until you fix the problem or the engine dies. Also if you reset codes and try to pass inspection it will not work because readers which are used by car services will indicate that codes were recently erased.
