Theres a good way i sometimes use, i press CTRL+H and it displays the History of your PC, then i right click on TODAY for example and delete, the TODAY history will be deleted.
The other way is people go to
Tools>internet Options>General>Browsing History>Delete.
If you mean internet history do the following. Settings-safari-clear history-clear cookies and cache.

If you are on Internet Explorer the best way to restore the cleared footprints history is to go to tools followed by internet options. Then clear the history, cookies, and temporary files. Once you have done that then go to the 'content' tab and clear passwords and clear forms.

I figure you are talking about firefox internet browser? To clear history,open firefox, go to tools>Clear Recent History, and select how long (everything reccommended). click clear, and your all set
