Yes it can be done.
First off, only CDMA phones can be cloned (Verizon, Sprint, etc.). You have to buy a donor phone (like the LG 220C) and clone the ESN number from the donor phone to your desired upgrade. There are a few reputable companies out there who will flash your phone for a minimal fee ($40-$65)
Note: Do not EVER turn on the donor phone because Straight Talk will shut off your services and blacklist the ESN number.
