The best way to come out to your best friend is to be yourself. You can get anywhere by just being yourself ,but don't show to much or people will just judge you a different way. So I think the best way to come out to your best friend is be yourself and tell them what you really think about them. ( be nice about it though!) :)

∙ 12y agoDo you just want him to know or be your boyfriend. Makes a difference. Understand that if you come out to him, you come out to everybody. Most people simply have to spread the word. Honesty is usually the best approach. Just tell him that you hope it doesn't change your relationship, but you wanted him to know that you are gay. Assure him you are not after him. After that it plays out however it does. He accepts you and things go on pretty much as they did before or he can't deal with it and pulls away. Being older, I usually make a point of informing new people fairly quickly if we are going to have an on going relationship. If it's going to be a problem I might as well know before I invest a lot of time in them. If you are not out yet, just make sure you are ready to deal with everyone knowing if he should freak out and start running his mouth.
