1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is your firing order, same as small blocks. from the factory number one wire should go to the tower on the distributor facing number 1 cylinder. that would be the front cylinder on the drivers side. from there hook up number eight clockwise right next to it, then number 4..3..6..5..7..2.
