Connect the 3G dongle to your Galaxy Tab 2. I should automatically setup the APN (Access Point Name). If it does not, while connected, go into Settings, and go to "More...". Next, go to Mobile Networks>Access Point Names. Next, select New APN option, or depending on what your OS version is, there may be a "+" icon at the top of the screen. Press it, and manually fill the fields listed (ie: Name, APN, Proxy, etc.). The Network Name should be whatever service provider you are using. The APN is that service provider's APN...you will need to search the internet as to what it is. The Dial Number should be what came with the dongle.
I will note that not all Samsung Galaxy tablets support dongles, so keep that in mind. Good luck!

Well, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro is a tablet, while the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a smartphone. Until the Galaxy Tab S came along, the Tab Pro was considered the flagship tablet device by Samsung. The Galaxy S5 is currently Samsung's smartphone flagship, but there is reportedly a more premium version of the S5 coming out soon. If you can determine what is most useful for you more on a day-to-day basis, that will help decide which device to pick up.
