I have a very old computer running windows 2000 ME and it usually connects to the internet through dial up. We got rid of dial up a long time ago and recently I bought a NETGEAR WG111T wireless adapter. I downloaded the installation files onto my working computer and transferred them to the second non-internet computer via flash drive and installed all the needed software and drivers. The adapter is connected to my router but my computer wants to use dial-up to connect to the internet. Does anyone know a way to re-work the computer so that it connects to the internet with the adapter not dial-up?
