How do you send audio to other people?

If you are looking for LIVE audio, you can set up a streaming account. this can be done on ustream www.ustream.com. it is video broadcast but if you use the right software, you can just set a Logo and broadcast audio. if you want to send a snippet of audio, Email would be a good way. record an MP3/WAV/OGG/FLAC of the audio, and send to the recipient via an email. you might have to RAR the file if its too big, and send the RAR parts via email, and get the recipient to unRAR the file.

What is the difference between mp3 music files and pcm music files?

PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) is a means of storing analog audio in a digital form. This is achieved by sampling the sound wave and then the individual samples are stored sequentially in binary format. This can result in large files. MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) is a standard means of compressing audio which has become popular on computers and via the Internet resulting in the creation of MP3 players such as the iPod. It provides for a variable level of compression resulting in small file size but maintaining an acceptable level of audio fidelity.

How do you connect surround sound to a TV?

There are essentially two ways to get surround sound out of the Xbox. Via HDMI or via optical (TOSLINK) out. If you have the component video cable, then the end that attaches to the Xbox has an optical out port. Simply attach this to the optical in on your home theatre receiver with an optical cable. If you want to use audio via HDMI, in order to get surround sound you'll have to have an HDMI receiver capable of receiving audio. In this case run the Xbox via HDMI to the receiver and then the receiver via HDMI to the TV. The HDMI will send both audio and video. If you have the official Xbox HDMI cable you can also connect the HDMI cable directly to the TV and use the optical out connector that it comes with instead.
