It really depends on the school, the amount of credits required for the degree, and the system in general. Typically, you should consider one full year at one institution that operates on a unit system, is equivalent to one full year at another institution on a credit system. Thus, when converting units to credits it is more of an estimation than an absolute number. For example, if a bachelor's degree requires 120 credits, than a unit would be 3.33 credits. If the degree is 128 credits, then a unit would be 3.55 credits. Because of the confusion this presents, many colleges and universities just transfer in one unit as three credits.
seventy-five
To convert quarter units to semester units, divide the number of quarter units by 1.5. Therefore, 67.5 quarter units would be equal to 45 semester units.
Each semester unit is 1.5 quarter units. This generally holds true across US schools.
You can't. Units of time don't convert to units of distance.
225 Semester units is the most I know of.
John Kent completed 88 units during his freshman year in 2006/2007 at American River College while mantaining a 3.5 GPA. His schedual included a fall semester of 28 units, a spring semester of 41 units and a summer session of 19 units.
72 Semester Units
Typically it does for colleges and universities that operate on a unit bases as apposed to a credit system. One unit is typically equivalent to three credits, thus, 8 units would be 24 credits at a college or university the operates on a credit system, and a regular two semester academic year.
The average student probably carries 12-15 units per semester, so if you wanted more I imagine you would have about 18-21. Do you realize how many classes that is? Each class is generally 3 units, so 21 unit would be 7 courses. If these are solids and if this is your first semester I would suggest you start with 12-15. That is a heavy course load with 18-21 units.
The typical course load for freshman in college is twelve units per semester. At three units per course that comes out to four courses per semester. Of course there could be a four unit course and then the course load would be thirteen.
It depends on the total number of units. 83 hours isn’t much and if I figured this correctly you have about 20 units which puts you as a freshman or year one of college.
This is 2 semesters. I am using 12 units per semester to figure the value.
