I cannot properly answer your question because I cannot remember exactly the amounts, but I think that it used to be that 2 teaspoons equaled 1 dessertspoon, and that 3 dessertspoon equaled 1 tablespoon (or serving spoon).
There is also a problem in that nowadays many people say a tablespoon when they mean a dessertspoon.
The only definite helpful measurement that I have is that the standard (apothecary)teaspoon is 5ml.
An old british cookbook such as Mrs. Beatons cookbook, or anything from before 1950 will have these equivelants.
1 tablespoon contains 3 teaspoons
As far as I know, US teaspoon is not equal to UK teaspoon, and US tablespoon is not equal to UK tablespoon either. And, AFAIK, in US measurement system there is no dessertspoon.
1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons
1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
divide by 3
.33
You multiply by 3.
A teaspoon is 5gm , a tablespoon is 15 gm, a cup is 250 gm. -In kitchen usage all these are the sams as ml.
3cc = 3ml There is 15ml in a Tablespoon and 5ml in a Teaspoon. Therefore 3cc = 3/5 of a Teaspoon (just over half) or 1/5 of a Tablespoon. 1 Tablespoon = 15cc)
A tablespoon (TBLS) is bigger than a teaspoon (TSP) .
42 tsp 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoon 1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
A teaspoon is a teaspoon and a tablespoon is a tablespoon, they aren't the same measurements.
teaspoon is tsp, tablespoon is tbsp. There are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon
A teaspoon is one third of a tablespoon
4 tbsp 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoon 1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
3 tbsp 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoon 1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
12 tsp 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoon 1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
5.33 tbsp 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoon 1 teaspoon = 0.33 tablespoon
