She had a crossbite
it all depends on how bad your crossbite is. lol. i know you have heard that 1000 times, but it is true. most persons with crossbites need braces, but not all. I would ask your ortho. :)

This depends on the amount of dental crowding present. Slight crowding my be corrected with a series of retainers or with the "Invisalign" method. If your teeth are straight and you don't have an overbite, probably not. If crowding is your ONLY problem then they will just probably extract them either by pulling them or they will put you to sleep and cut them out.
Complain about your teeth You dont. You go to the orthodontist. Actually, it's only NEEDED if you have an overbite or a crossbite or an under bite. Or if you have crooked teeth. Braces are VERY expensive, and I tell you, they are NOT fun to have! You cant eat sugar for 6 weeks or else you teeth will rot where they glued the square on.
well it depends on how bad your teeth are. ask your dentist about it. maybey 2 years

There really isn't an age limit for braces. You are pretty much never too old to have them on. If you meant age minimun, then that depends on the person and the orthodontist. If there is crowding or something that is concerning most orthodontists will do a free consult to let you know the plan for your mouth.
