For baking, you can put the steak in a pan, add just a little water, enough to cover just the bottom of the pan. Seal tightly with tin foil and bake at 250 degrees F for 2 to 3 hours, depending on how thick the steak is. Check for tenderness and remove from the oven when it's the way you want it. Cooking it slow is what makes it so tender, and sealing it in tinfoil basically is steaming the meat. You can remove the foil and cook about 10 minutes on each side to brown it.

For broiling, timing will depend on the thickness of the steak, how close the steak is to the broiler and how well done you want it. Start at 4 minutes on each side for rare and adjust your timing from there.
