You would remove any fence that is adjacent to the tank. Click on the platform to the tank. Use the arrows in the pop up at the lower right hand corner to lower the base of the tank. When the tank is level with the ground around it, you will be able to see the tank merge with the exhibit. Your animals will now be able to use both the tank and the exhibit. Be careful to fence around the other three sides of the tank or else your animals will be able to escape into the guest area of your zoo. I made one and included a screen shot to show you how at the link below.
Create a land exhibit, then create a regular tank adjacent and on the same level as your land exhibit. Delete the Fencing between the land and the tank. Then add a show tank adjacent to the regular tank.
