You can't really or rather you probably shouldn't. They are hollow and the bottom cut edge will rust no matter what you do to it. Normally, you would make the opening taller. If you had to, cut it with an abrasive blade in a circular saw if possible. This will give you a more even cut. I would either cut a board to fit inside the door and glue it in place, or clamp a 2x4 on either side across the face of the door, making sure thickness of the door was the same in the middle and put spray foam insulation in the bottom. Up at least 6 inches. Trim off the excess that comes out after it has hardened. This should seal the door and glue the two faces together.

To replace weatherstripping on an exterior door, first remove the old weatherstripping by peeling it off or using a putty knife. Measure the dimensions of the door frame and cut the new weatherstripping to fit. Install the new weatherstripping by pressing it into place along the edges of the door frame. Make sure it creates a tight seal to prevent drafts and energy loss.
Your going to have to take off the door panel. After you do that you will be able to see the door handle held in by rivets that have a metal that is bent out to hold it in place. Your going to have to bend them straight to get the handle out. Better off going to the dealer where they have the correct tool for it. I had the same problem on the same door. Goodluck

On the hinges on the exterior of the vehicle there should be a nut that you have to unscrew from the door. after you have both nuts unscrewed (theres 2 on each door) open the door, roll the window down (i do this go hold the door better) then just pop the door up and it comes off the hinges.
You can typically cut up to 1 inch off the bottom of a hollow core door. Be sure to measure carefully and use the appropriate tools to ensure a clean and precise cut.
