Another method would be to place the already washed orange on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut the orange in half. Cut from the top to the bottom. The top will have a brown rough spot where it was attached to the tree. After you have two slices, place the flat open sides down against the cutting board. Continue to make this same cut, top to bottom, to your remaining orange halves. Depending on the size of the Oranges, you will probably make about three to five orange slices form each half. The slices will still have the peel attached. You may either peel it off with your fingers, or bite the orange directly off of it. This method is good for handing out orange slices a snack or garnish.
