You need a special tool. It turns as it is pushed in. Some auto parts stores will lend you the tool if you buy the parts from them.

If parking brake is operated through service brake--then piston is threaded into caliper body--special tool is needed (not expensive) available at Sears or auto parts

You may have worn shoes or pads depending on what your vehicle has. Also check the fluid level in your brake master cylinder.
Try checking the brake fluid. that's what happened to me as well. the light on the dash wouldn't go off. all I did was add brake fluid then took the e-brake off and off went the light. I have a 90' accord but I think 90-93 is basically the same.

No, the only transmission that fits exactly is a 94-97 Accord. The 90-93 Accord can be used, but you will need the 90-93 flywheel. Chuck

Yes, I actually bought a 93 accord trans for my 96 prelude. The 91-93 accords have the same engine and trans as the 92-96 preludes.
