My writing I would describe as this... This is what I felt, thought, needed to say. It is important to me It describes something important The structure would not be complete sentences but descriptive thoughts. THAT is how I tend to write. An example is: Daylight Stars We are like shooting stars in the midnight sky of life Some seen only to those watching Others lighting the night turning it to day The smallest of men, Leading the simplest of lives, Often bring the brightest of lights to the darkest of nights. Through hope and perseverance With the companionship of a good friend We may each be the Daylight Star in our own midnight sky

The form, structure, and language of the writing typically help determine if it is a poem. Poems often feature heightened language, rhythm, and imagery that convey emotion or ideas in a creative way. Additionally, the author's intention and context can also play a role in classifying a piece of writing as a poem.

Metrical form is the hall mark of a well-written poem. Metrical form to a poem is like physical form to a man- to contain it. A well-written poem also will resemble a well-cut path smooth for the reader, even if seldom travelled. A walker's feet shall have to face no hurdles or obstacles on the way. It will have perfect rhythm which captivates the reader and makes him sing it, which means, a well-written poem will be a musical entertainment. We must remember that all famous poets were musicians also. Going through a well-written poem is like walking through a sweet-scented garden- the effect will linger. A well-written poem can be recognized from these characteristics.
