Yes
1. Sign in to your Google account. 2. Click on Settings. 3. Click on Google Account Settings. 4. Click on iGoogle. 5. Click on delete iGoogle permanently. Once you have deleted iGoogle from your Google account, you can't use or reopen an iGoogle account.
When you are on iGoogle, near the top of the page above your apps it says: "Show this page every time I start to browse the web. Make iGoogle my homepage". Click on that to make iGoogle your homepage.
You can get rid of your iGoogle page by going to your upper righgt and clicking on Classic Home and it should take you back to your normal google page.
The i in igoogle represents the fact that that page is your personal content and it refers to you(or I in first person veiw)
It is because of the extension or the homepage set to iGoogle. You can remove the extension to get a blank page.
I do not believe that there is a limit
iGoogle is Google's customisable home page. Chrome is a Web browser.
As much as iGoogle is amazing, Google has decided to end iGoogle service as of November 1, 2013. You can still enjoy iGoogle until then. There are countless apps and gadgets that you can add to your iGoogle page, such as a calendar, countdown, dictionary, translation, word of the day, birthday reminder, local gas prices, weather, and a gmail snapshot.
If you are trying to get back to the old Google page instead of the new iGoogle one, go to the upper right hand corner of the new one and click "Classic Home" and you should be good.
