I've been in this situation before. The best thing to do is to connect your iPod to your computer dock and it should automatically start downloading on your computer ready to be synced to your ipod. If not connect your ipod then go to iTunes and click on 'Store' at the top left of your screen, then click on 'check for available downloads'. It should then automatically start downloading ready to be synced to your ipod.
You unfortunately are not able to . . You can delete apps that you have downloaded to your iPhone, but not the apps that are rooted in the factory settings of the iPhone. However, there is a way of moving the original apps to another area, which gives the appearance of the original apps being removed .

To delete applications you have to click and hold on an application until they begin to shake then you can select the delete button.
If you are trying to delete an app without an x, it means that you cannot delete it. The apps that cant be deleted are the ones that came preinstalled on your iphone. In other words, apps that are preinstalled cant be deleted while apps that you install can be.
You cannot delete apps without losing the associated data. The app space and the data are essentially one.
Turn it off completely then delete then get them again.

You need to go into a wifi area and then it will stop waiting and start loading. Then you have the app you purchased and may delete it if you want.
