download modloader and drag and drop all the files from the zip into the minecraft.jar using a program like 7zip you will also need to delete the meta.inf folder to avoid having a black screen
Did you delete "META-INF"? That acts like a sort of "Anti-Hacking Device". Also, When you download a mod, MOST of them need ModLoader. Put the Modloader file in the Minecraft.Jar file THEN put in your mod. Remember to delete Meta-Inf!
Rigusumi's Modloader
Modloader, Modloader MP, and most minecraft mods are completely free. You can download most of them at the Minecraft Forum.
Yes. But you need to do this in good way- first instal forge, then modloader. (or modloader-->forge)
Modloader, Modloader MP, and most Minecraft mods are completely free. You can download most of them at the Minecraft Forum.
First you need to make sure that you have a completely clean mods folder. Any mods in there when you install ModLoader will cause an error upon launch. To fix this. Delete all the mods you have accept the one you want then try it again.
Modloader can be found in the modding section of the minecraft forums.
Download modloader, open modloader with winrar or 7zip. Then go onto run (type run into the search bar) in run type %appdata%, click on mincraft. When you have opend the mincraft folder open bin, then open minecraft.jar using winrar or 7zip. Finally drag and drop the files from your opened modlaoder into minecraft. REMEMBER TO DELETE METAINF!!! (if you dont when you open minecraft you will get a black screen)
Yes, Forge should be completely compatible with modloader.
I'm pretty sure there isn't one, but if you're referring to modloader, just delete your bin folder (/%appdata%/Roaming/minecraft/bin on windows) and force update the next time you launch minecraft.
You can download all the mods from here aswell as modloader. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Mods
