Because I'm not sure which browser you're using, a general way you can delete temporary internet files would be...
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup.
A box will appear with available items you can delete, make sure you check "Temporary Internet Files"
In Windows XP:

In Run type %temp% and press Enter
Delete all the temporary files you see in the window
(Note: Some files will not be deleted since some process may be using those files so leave that and delete the other files)
