With the car running go through one by one and disconect the plug wires when you do this the motor should run rougher when you find the one that doesnt change when unpluged you have found the bad wire
You can use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of all wires. Alternately, you can put it in place of a known working cross-over cable and see if the network connection still functions. Remember that many modern network devices detect whether the cable is straight or cross-over, so perhaps you don't even need a cross-over.
Take out one of the spark plugs. Check whether it sparks.
It has been my experience when a battery sparks at the post, that the battery cable is loose and/or not making a good connection, causing the spark to jump from the cable to the post. You might want to clean the cable and post and re-connect the cable.
It certainly gives us useful information - basically, it lets us detect whether an object is moving towards us or away from us, and at what speed.
you'll need extra battery. take one battery at a time. hook one side to hot on a good battery. take other end and another battery hold it on hot, and then take a long screw driver and touch neg. and poss. if cable is good it will spark
Also known as jumper cables? Attach the RED cable to the positive post of the good battery, then positive post of dead battery. BLACK cable to negative post of good battery, then to SOLID METAL on engine away from dead battery. Start car with good battery, then car with bad battery. Remove in the reverse order, and do not let the ends touch each other. When making last connection, there will be a spark. If that spark is at a battery, it can make the battery explode- car batteries give off hydrogen gas. Procedure above keeps spark away from battery.
There are many good markets for cable strain relief. A good market for cable strain relief is ASI Connectors. Another good market for cable strain relief is Farnell.
pull the cables, remembering which cable goes to which cylinder. check for carbon build-up on cable ends to see if cables are still good. remove plugs using spark plug socket oily sludge on plu ends will show unburned fuel/oil clean cable ends of build up, etc. set air gap according to spec install plugs and torque to spec, about 19 ft/lbs. re-install plug cables, and you should be good
No it will not.
1988 kx 250 not getting good spark now what can i do
Not the ''Spark'' part. It sounds like a dog's name. Joy is good though. I'd probalby encourage Joy and Hope. -Edited By: Emoluvver00 I think Spark and Joy sounds too much like love and hate... but I do like the spark part! (Spark and Kennedy - Spark and Geviveve - Spark and Skylar - Spark and Hannah - Spark and Marissa - Spark and Bellah
yes no spark and fuses are all good
