The 2006 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) states the following when sizing pipe: G2413.3 (402.3) Sizing. Gas piping shall be sized in accordance with one of the following: 1. Pipe sizing tables or sizing equations in accordance with Section G2413.4. 2. The sizing tables included in a listed piping system’s manufacturer’s installation instructions. 3. Other approved engineering methods. A quick answer is to let the professiojnals do it. Pipe sizing can get a little complicated if you are not using method 2 above. My limmited ability and the format of this board does not allow me to post the equasions needed to properly size pipe. Because gas goes BOOM, it is my recomendation that you find a qualified person to help you size the pipe and then you can install it yourself. Hope this helps Terry
