If you need a heater core, the one you currently have would be leaking. If the car is over heating or not getting warm enough, think thermostat.
You may need to replace your Thermostat or your Heater Core.
You might need a new thermostat or heater core.
is your heater core bad or thermostat bad need more details
you might need a heater core
Your heater core is plugged and you need a thermostat.
if the blower motor works most likely heater core is bad. need more info
There are a bunch of things that can cause that. Water pump, thermostat, switch not engaging the heater, air in the heater core, not enough antifreeze in the cooling system. do i need a new thermostat
I would check the thermostat first but what it sounds like is that the coolant system is clogged up causing no coolant to pass through the heater core. If the coolant is very dirty then you will need to flush out the complete system and this will need to be done by removing the hoses to the heater core and the thermostat. Flush it out several times until you get clean water coming through........
Flush,Clean or change the heater core u need to replace engine thermostat
you need to remove the two hoses from the engine compartment that lead to the heater core one is near the thermostat housing on the right side of the motor the other is on the left side going right to the water pump
Assuming the coolant level is full, it could be a stuck open thermostat or a plugged up heater core. With the vehicle warmed up, heater on and engine running, feel the heater hoses with your hands. If they are both luke warm you probably need to replace the thermostat. If one is hot and the other is luke warm you probably need to flush the heater core. If they are both hot you may have a problem with the temp blend door.
Your heater core is leaking, Need to REPLACE HEATER CORE.
