It should be stamped on the back of the alternator. If you have full power, windows, seats, it is probably the 150.

feb 28 2008. had a gmc envoy xuv since march of 2004.with the maintence done when due,the SUV is solid.had service engin soon lite come on,this was gas cap related.IT MUST BE ON IF THE ENGIN IS ON OR IF THE IGNITIOIN IS ENGAGED. expect to ware out a set of tires in two years or 30,000 miles.
You will need to allow the seat belt to retract completely, and if this does not work there is a problem with the actuater and you will need to take it in for service.

you take it out and put in a new one
behind the alternator on the motor block.
The thermostat is located inside of the top radiator inlet. The inlet is behind the alternator, and the alternator will have to be removed.
loosen serpentine belt. remove ac line brake bolts (3) that sits on top of the alternator remove top two alt bolts with 15mm socket remove bottom alt bolt with a 15mm ratchet wrench(major pain bc ac line is in the way) unplug voltage regulator pigtail unscrew battery cable

It is located behind the alternator just above the thermostat. You will need to take the alternator off to be able to reach and change the sensor.
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem and have codes cleared
