Sorry, but gave it my best shot and couldn't find anything on how to disarm a 2001 Ford Taurus alarm system. You should have a manual to the car and if you can't find it phone the dealer. Their mechanics may even tell you and not charge you for it.
Most require a remote.
The only way i found to disarm the alarm was to use the back hatch lock. lock it and unlock it a few times with the key. if this doesnt work try the door locks

Alarm systems are (dis)armed (basically) by transmitting a code on a given frequency. It is insufficient to know the frequency alone.
