If there is no key hole then it will stay active all the time. If there is a key then turn the key to the on position. It usually lights up when the unit has been turned off. If it does have one it will be in plain site near the airbag area. My 2002 liberty doesnt have a selector. Hope this helps.
The only way i found to disarm the alarm was to use the back hatch lock. lock it and unlock it a few times with the key. if this doesnt work try the door locks
my 1992 ford f150 custom with l6 4.9L engine is not equipped with airbags on the passenger side or in the steering wheel ...you will need to look for a stamp on the steering wheel that says SRS Airbag... if it doesnt have that stamp your truck is not equpped with airbags.. or you can pull the cover off of your steering wheel like I did to fix my horn... that is how I found out my truck is not equipped with SRS Airbags
pull the handle. if that doesnt work check the child safety lock in the sil.
why my 2 climatisation chair on my Lincoln 2003 doesnt work anymore their supose to come hot or cold both of them don't work !!
It is a possibility that the Airbag light does do a self diagnostic (Most cars do), and that it does not come on is because the bulb is burned out (The reason self-checks are performed). Check the bulb first, or try replacing it with a known good bulb, then try it again.
No, not unless you replace both second rear side seats. or remove the center arm rest. I own a 8 passenger version and It doesnt have arm rest on the seats.
Take it to a repair shop because the clock spring below the airbag in the steering wheel is probably defective.
if the airbag warning light comes on it means most likely that your airbag system is faulty, it should be taken to a professional to be sorted out but often on mondeos it can be a yellow plug under the seat that needs removing being wiped/cleaned and plugged back in which can solve the problem, try this on both drivers seat and passengers seat, if it doesnt work take it to a dealer.
it may bee in the seats, or stering colume!!!! good luck, i am starting to think my 96 Nissan doesnt have a sensor... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are several diffent sensor and different location of airbag sensor. It depends on which one you are trying to locate.- TechJK
Have you checked the fuse and relay? - They are in the engine compartment above the passenger strut.
Try checking for a fuel pump shutoff switch in the trunk by the rear passenger seat. It might look like a red button that needs to be depressed. Look for a hole in the paneling by the trunk hinge. If you have hit a bump or were involved in a minor accident it might trip so your engine doesn't run in the event of an accident.
