I am assuming you mean how do you remove the water pump because you don't want to take the water pump apart since you cannot get parts for it. To remove the pump for replacement:
Water pump removal (V6)
Removal of the water pump on a 1995 Ford Aerostar V6 3.0 non AWD begins by removing the drive belts and accessories. The water pump can then be unbolted and pulled from the engine.
The fuel pump on a 1997 Ford Aerostar XLT is located on right side under the battery. This is connected to the back wall.
It is inside the fuel tank.
The weep hole is "an indicator of bad bearings and/or seals" in the water pump when antifreeze starts to drip or run out of it. If antifreeze is coming out the weep hole, change the water pump.
The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank
Believe it or not it's inside the gas tank.
On the 1989 Aerostar it is under the dash near the passenger door.
Remove radiator, serpentine belt, bracket for power steering, and you should be able to get to all water pump bolts, although I'm having a hard time removing fan from pump.
Needs coolant and/or needs to be put back in timing/slack belt/deffective water pump.
the water pump is located right in the front of the engine right underneath the fan
pump has to be pressed off with a puller.
after you remove the fan and fan hood remove the belt and the alternator. you then remove the 6mil bolts and your water pump should come free from the timing chain cover.
