just pull the connector off tape up the end of the wire to avoid shorts
There really is only one way to turn off the air horn in a truck. You need to disconnect the horn.
Trace where the wires connect to the horn itself. They should be be able to be dis-connected.
To change the speedometer cable on a 1990 Toyota truck, disconnect the cable, feeding it through the grommet, then disconnect it from the transmission. The process can then be reversed with the new cable.

Passenger side behind the grill.
open the hood, behind the grill, it should be on the left side(the horn), disconnect the wires running to it and unbolt it. take your new horn and bolt it on, then run the wires back to the new horn.
disconnect the battery for 5 to 10 minutes

you can remove the horn relay in the fuse box.
"Honk", I suppose? They also have what they call a "city horn", which is just a regular car horn. Some owner-operators will disconnect the city horn and use the electrical connection to power a set of train horns actuated by an electric solenoid.
Remove screw @ bottom of horn pad. (After disconnecting Neg. battery cable of course.) Disconnect horn wire from pad. Remove center nut. Use wheel puller and REMOVE.
Disconnect horns, disconnect battery, disconnect relay, disconnect fuse .........................................or repair problem.
