It's up by the firewall on the driver side of the vehicle. It's this weird little contraption.. I'm not sure if the vehicle will still run without it, i haven't researched that (some high dollar cars won't run without the alarm system). It looks like you'd just unscrew one little screw and the whole assembly would come out, however, the power cable coming into it is red and white (i think) and looks as though it just clips on.
I am researching this myself due to a faulty alarm that keeps me from starting my own car. As soon as I get the answer I'll pass it along.
The easiest way to disable your 1993 Buick factory alarm is to remove the alarm fuse. The alarm fuse can be found in the fuse box.
disconnect and reconnect the battery
It can if it's set by the manufacture
YES.
on my 1993 jeep GCL i removed fuse 6 and 7 from the fuse box to disable my alarm i hope this helps
To Diable: The Jeep dealership states that there is no way of disabling the factory alarm for this model. To Diarm: If a remote is not available or doesn't work: stick the key in the door and turn it, if that does not work disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes. Reconnect the battery and try the key again. Hopefully this works for you (only worked half the time for me).
usually the factory alarm
3000gt Mitsubishi 1992 is jumping out of reverse
If you are on WikiAnswers trying to learn how to steal a car, I would suggest against it.
Remove the alarm, i did the same in my altima, the alarm box is located under the dash by the steering column, is a little black box, disconnect the terminal and you will be ok.
The 1993 Ford Ranger does not have an alarm override but. You can override the alarm system by removing the alarm system fuse.
