drop drive shaft, take u- bolts loose from leaf springs, disconnect brake- lines.
It won't.
The standard cab uses a one piece drive shaft. The extended cab uses a two piece drive shaft.
the third member/ carrier and torque tube are one you will have to remove them as an assym
Yes you can, but if you do not unhook the drive shaft you will log all the miles traveled, other wise there is no harm in towing the pick-up like this, Tom.

I am working on my 1994 Ext Cab Toyota Pickup and it has drum brakes.
Take the drive shaft off. Unbolt the shocks, then the leaf springs. And the brake lines
The most common cause is a defective drive belt. Inspect all drive belts.
Remove Distributor,remove drive gear,remove shaft,remove pickup coil.
remove the distributer, remove the roll pin holding the drive gear onto the distributer shaft, remove the distributer drive gear, remove the shaft from the distributer to gain access to and remove the stator(pick-up coil). Replace the stator, and reassemble everything.
