To put a Chevy Trailblazer into four wheel driver, locate the four wheel drive component below the instrument panel. While the car is in drive, move the knob into the desired four-wheel drive position.
Try putting the vehicle un neutral first. You will also need to put it in neutal to disengage
25 miles...but i wouldn't push it
Problem with the 4 wheel drive
The year, make and model would help.
Don't drive as much bum rides from friends car pool and ask for money when you drive
I would doubt it. The gears are usually dimensionally different in the front and rear axles. NO!
I just put 245/75r16 Wrangler Duratrac on my 4X4 LS trailblazer. Look mean and drive great

This is an engine swap and will require engineering mounts, drive shafts, computers and wiring.
It is possible to drive a Chevy Trailblazer with no power steering. However, it isn't recommended. The steering column could freeze and there could be no way to steer the car.
tranmission is in a bind and not letting it bring it out
You can drive your 2005 Chevy Trailblazer 4.2 liter engine with salt the air box cover in place. It is not recommended to do so, because cost particles can get into your engine.
It is best for the vehicle if you are at a complete stop, put the trailblazer in neutrail, turn the selection knob to your right to whichever setting you would like, wait for it to engage, then put it in drive and take off!
every two too three thousand miles depending on how hard you drive the car.
It will not disengage from four wheel drive until you find a cheat. I have done this before!
It doesnt matter what car you drive. Every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first.
This vehicle has an electronic throttle setup, aka "Drive by Wire." So therfore there is no cable to grease.
Replace your thermostat. After 3 drive cycles without failure, the mil will turn off on its own. Or use a scantool.
My trailblazer works fine both forward and backwards! Yours however sounds like you blew the reverse band in the transmission and need a new tranny. Or your against something that is holding you from behind.
try driving it in reverse for a bit before you go forward.....rosdale joe
