First you jump up, then you press the "L" button.
if you're talking about the first Paper Mario,As you progress through Chapter 3, eventually you'll find Super Boots( which have the ability to make you ground pound) Press A twice to ground pound. If it's Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, you'll find Super Boots as you progress through Chapter 2. Again press A twice to ground pound. Super Paper Mario? You'll find a ground-pounding pixl named Thudley in Chapter 3-2. press 2 twice to ground pound
You can do a move similar to the ground pound called a spin jump. However, you must have the Super Boots to do this move. You can find them in the Great Tree in a large chest. However, this move cannot be used in battle, and is only used to break boards nailed to the floor.
Its simple. Jump then press R. Wait I havent played the game in a long time but I know you ither press L or R in mid-air.
You press A to jump and then press Z to do a ground pound.
Hit the up button and then hit the down button, you will either slide or ground pound!

if you are mini Mario you have to ground pound
Press B to jump, then R to do the ground pound. Any form of jumping, whether its normal, double or triple, you can still do a ground pound. Hope this helps!
