put iPod into dfu mode and plug it into a computer that has synced with a ipod/iphone with the desired software. Then when it asks to restore from back up go into your ipods files in my computer and drag the software onto iTunes then it will do the rest
p.s. to put into dfu mode hold power and home button at the same time until ipod turns off then let go of power button but hold home button for 20 more seconds then its in dfu mode
