The way to download objects on the Sims 2 is complex. The best website for downloading is modthesims2.com. thesimsresource.com has a wider range, but mostly disgusting recolours and its packed with viral content. You will need to open My Documents, then EA Games, then The Sims 2, then the Download folder. (If there is no download folder, right click and put a new one in named: Downloads). When the download is in the download folder, right-click it, hover over SEND-TO, then select ZIP FILE. Click zip file; in time a zip files with identical name, will appear next to the download, then rightclick the zip file, and select EXTRACT ALL, or EXTRACT. An extraction wizard will appear, click next and finish, the extracted files will open, and the content will be available on the Sims 2 (the next time it is restarted. ∙ 12y agoyou can only buy a car in sims 2 PC if you have nightlife. if you install nightlife, you should have a variety of cars to chosse from in the miscellaneous option (the three circles) ranging from the rundown carpool car that is normally used by other sims to transport your sim to and from work if they have not had any promotions, there is also a truck, a family van (more commonly used by the adoption and nanny agency), a small what appears to be some sort of Toyota camery, and a hot-rod sports car that has many of cool colors to choose from!
