because your music is saved on the old computer. You are logging in to your iTunes store account so you can continue to purchase music. This is separate from the music you already have in your iTunes library. you will need to copy your existing music library from the old computer to the new computer to access it with the new iTunes software.

If you have iTunes on 1 computer and want to get songs from another iTune on a new computer onto your iPod, you can't. You can delete all the songs on your iPod and start again on the new iTunes, but you cant combine 2 iTune libraries. This is for all iPods, not just the iPod touch. You have to download it all again. It's pretty easy, you can go straight to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and download iTunes. You can set up a new account direct from there and then plug in your iPod and sync it up with your newly installed iTunes software

You can't with iTunes but you can download a software called iDump which lets you transfer music from your iPod to iTunes.
