You have to remove the transmission pan.
you dont drain
you go to an oil change place and they will suck the oil out thru the filler tube
on modern transmissions when u drop the pan and change the filter you do not get the oil that is in the torque converter,so u are not doing a proper oil change
it has been roven that dropping pan and filter will lead to a quick death of the transmission
There is no drain plug. Unbolt the bottom pan of the tranny and pull the filter off.
Drain tranny drop pan remove filter replace pan add fluid start motor place in N check levels.
I've never seen a Honda which has a tranny filter. Just a drain plug and that's it. There is no drain pan, therefore you can't take off a drain pan to change the filter (if it had one). I own a 2002 CRV and a 97 accord. You can purchase a filter at any auto parts store, they are about $12.00. And yes the 1999 cr-v does have a filter, it is located on top of tranny.
Find the drain plug on the tranny oil pan. Loosen it and the fluid should start to drain - remove the plug all the way and let the contents go into a pan. When doing this, one also needs to change the tranny oil filter - this is accomplished by removing the tranny oil pan and changing it.
If it's like most cars it doesn't have a drain plug for the tranny, you have to unbolt the tranny pan and take it down.
I really doubt that there is a drain plug for the tranny, usually you have to unbolt the tranny fluid pan and take it down to get to the filter and drain the fluid.
Change the fuel filter or drain the water out of the fuel filter.
there is no drain...... you have to unbolt the whole transmission pan to drain the fluid. make sure you have the right(new) gasket before you undo it! also change the filter while you are at it. put on the new filter and gasket reinstall the pan, then you can fill it with transmission fluid.
Drain then change the filter.
The fuel filter is inside of the fuel tank, so you'll have to drain/drop the tank first.
Not for sure, but most vehicles don't have a drain plug for the transmission. most vehicles you just have to take the transmission pan off to drain the fluid, so that when you change the tranny fluid, you should change the filter as well.
To drain the transmission you have to drop the transmission oil pan. Make sure to change the filter while you are in there. It is inexpensive and will prolong your transmission life.
