If the carburetor is cleaned on the Yamaha Bruin 350 and it will idle but stall when given gas, it could be that the float is sticking. The carburetor may also need to be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw so that it is not getting too much gas when revved.
if gas in leaking out of the over flow tube connected to bottom of carb, the needle and seat needs to be replaced. unless the float has been messed with and is bent.

To drain the gas from a 2000 Yamaha TT-R, disconnect the fuel line and drain into an appropriate container. If this is a winterization process, there are fuel stabilizers available in retail locations.

pull the gas line off of the carburetor and let it drain.

easily unattach the hose coming from the tank leading to the carburetor turn the gas ''on'' and drain and then turn to "reserve" and drain the rest of the gas.
Get a rubber hose that is about half inch in diameter and siphon gas out
