I went to the drug store and picked up a 10cc syringe the needle has to be screwed on but you dont want to put the needle tip on anyway and suck it out, then fill it up with the recommened power steering fluid for you make and model
Remove the plug on the bottom of the power steering fluid pump. Drain the power steering fluid out. Replace the plug to the bottom of the power steering pump. Replace the power steering fluid.
Power steering never has a drain plug.
Power Steering contains the fluid which is in Disc Brakes(uncompressible liquid). It evaporates it self.
Do not run the engine. You need to drain out the fluid antifreeze mixture. You can then refill the power steering fluid.
To replace power steering fluid on a 95 Geo Metro, open the hood. There is a large yellow knob labeled with powering steering fluid only. Drain the old power steering fluid and place new fluid.
The power steering pump has two lines attached to it. One line has a tube nut holding it to the power steering pump, the other has a hose clamp. Remove the line with the hose clamp and allow the fluid to drain.
Use a turkey baster to remove excess fluid
Disconnect the return line (from the steering rack) at the power steering fluid reservoir. Place it in a drain pan. Run the engine while pouring the new fluid into the reservoir. After the new fluid starts coming out of the hose, shut off the engine, reconnect the hose and refill the reservoir.
It does not have a drain plug.
You will need to drain out the old fluid first. Then you can put in the new fluid and test out the vehicle.
Disconnect the low pressure line
use a turkey baster to suck it out.
