If in 2D: Step1: Figure out what size pipe your 'U' bolt will encompass, then draw a circle with the same diameter as the pipe it will go around. From two opposite quadrants of the circle draw a line extending in the same direction (these will be the threaded portions - so you must know how long those are to be). Trim the unnecessary portion of the circle, and join all three segments using the PEDIT command. Step 2: Figure out the diameter of your bolt, and offset the joined line that distance. From there, you will have to draw the threaded portion (diagonal lines). If in 3D: Use Step 1 from the 2D process ... Step 2: Extrude a circle, the same diameter of your bolt along the path created by the polyline This will get you started - there can be many more steps, depending on how much detail you are trying to achieve. ~ M. fd 60 rt 120 fd 60 rt 120 fd 60 rt 120 will cause the turtle to draw a triangle. The square brackets indicate that the enclosed commands are to be executed three times, repeat 3 [fd 60 rt 120] Search Google with: "logo commands triangle" and have a look through the websites on the subject.
platform-dependent
C++ has no built-in function to draw lines, nor indeed to perform any type of graphics output. The standard library is designed to be as generic as possible, and is therefore capable of supporting all platforms using text output only. Graphics output is obviously possible, but it is platform-specific so you will need a graphics API that provides functions that are specific to your operating system and/or hardware.

A diagram can be draw by hand or simply using software such as AutoCAD.
you learn better through trial & error
One can draw slopes in an AutoCAD drawing by drawing lines at differing angles. An AutoCAD is a CAD or computer aided design software application for 2D and 3D design and drafting.
In my opinion, and this is what we implemented in our company, an AutoCAD operator is a person who has a basic knowledge of how to operate the AutoCAD program. This person has done an entry level AutoCAD course and knows how to draw lines etc. in the CAD program. An AutoCAD draftsman is a person that also knows how to operate the AutoCAD program but is also proficient in composing technical drawings. (e.g. have a good understanding of scales, projections, sections, etc.) We based these different descriptions on pre AutoCAD times. Any person can draw lines or circles on paper with a pen, but you had to do technical drawing courses to become a draftsperson.
A plane in autocad is where you begin to draw it is the x and y coordinates if you want to call them coordinates or x and y lines. if your in 3D than it would consist of x y z planes.
using a ruler, draw any two lines that cross each other
you just draw lines
Hoe
Draw two diameter lines, then draw a circle inside the circle.
You can try using a grid, take a picture of the toaster, Draw lines across the paper perfectly, put those lines on a bigger piece of paper(enlarging the lines) and draw square by square.
Draw a line. Draw a perpendicular to that line then a perpendicular from that one.
