1) Chalk your front wheels and then raise your vehicle from the differential (center rear axle) high enough to crawl under. 2) Put jack stands under the frame before crawling under the vehicle. 3) Disconnect and remove the filler hose and vent/overflow hose located at the rear of your tank. 4) If your tank is not bone dry, now is the time to siphoned or pump all the fuel you can get out through the large opening. Get as much gas out of the tank as possible. 5) Remove the little wire bracket that is holding the 2 brake lines in the way on the rear driver side rail (13mm). 6) Loosen the two (2) (15mm) bolts that hold the straps in place. Remove the 2 straps all of the way by rotating them 90 degrees, and then pull them down. 7) Drop the tank low enough to be able to disconnect everything remaining, the front hose, (small plastic hose with a wired fitting), and the 2 fuel lines and connector at the pump, and the rear connector. 8) You will need a special $12 tool to release the two fuel lines from your pump. (The tool is available at local auto parts store) 9) Raise your floor jack that is under the differential until the wheels are about 8 inches off the ground. Drop the rear part of the tank first, then the front. Your tank will slide right out from under the rear axle.

10) If the check engine light is on after the job is finished disconnected the battery for 30 minutes to reset the codes.
