First, I'm going to make an assumption. I am assuming you are using internet Explorer (the picture you click on looks like a blue lowercase "e"). I'm also going to assume you are using Windows XP. Now, to do this, given the above assumptions, you will first want to open up Internet Explorer - as if you were going to search the internet or check your e-mail. It doesn't matter what the page says, as long as the window is open. Now, you should see a few menus at the top of your screen that say "File Edit View Favorites Tools Help". If you don't see this, then press the "Alt" button at the bottom of your keyboard and you will. Now, from the words that I just talked about at the top of the screen, click once on Favorites. A menu should come down displaying all your favorite links. Now, click on the words "Organize Favorites..." - it should be the third one down the menu. A new, smaller window should pop up giving you the option to create a new folder, to move files, to rename files, or delete them. -CCMFreak2

How do you get rid of a favorite from your favorites bar?

In Windows there are 2 ways to do this but you didn't say which browser so I will assume you're using IE8 or IE9. in both browsers the easiest way is to click on your favorites menu. A drop down will appear with all your favorites. It depends on how you placed it. I use folders for categories and if there is something inside one of those folders I want to delete. I scroll down to that folder. Then a sub-folder appears with all the pages I've saved. If the one I want to delete is there I just right click on it and choose delete. The other way is more steps. In IE8 you click on the favorites menu in the favorites bar. There are 3-4 choices right below it. The one to choose is called "organize favorites". A tab will open up with all your favorites folders. Click the folder the page is in this will open that folder then click the page you want to delete and click the delete button located in the bottom of the tab. then click close. In IE9 in order to open up the "organize favorites" tab, you must click on the star located in the upper right corner of the browser. Then click the arrow next to the favorites button and the drop down menu will appear with the "organize favorites" at the bottom. Once you click that the tab will open up and follow the same intstructions above. If you're using Firefox or Chrome you will have to ask a new question and be sure to put in the exact browser you're using along with which version.
