Turn on your ds with the ar in it with the game, on the menu with the big start on it, look at the bottom. THere should be a button with a pencil or somethign like it. Add the code throught there.

You mean the difference of Action Replay DS and Action Replay DS EZ? Well, the main part is that the regular version is a version where you insert game into the Action Replay. EZ version is a version where you load the codes, take the Action Replay out, and put the game in. Here are some risks: Action Replay DS: Very big risk of freezing gameplay (Game freezes because Action Replay bumps into something (But not a big risk about breaking Action replay) Action Replay DS EZ: My own Experience: NEVER TAKE ACTION REPLAY DS EZ OUT WHILE SAVING!!!!! I DID, AND NOW WHENEVER I LOAD MY CODES, THE TOUCH SCREEN GOES ALL RED AND BLUE. You must want one of those. If you buy one and you have a DSI, Action Replay DS and Action Replay DS EZ won't work on DSI. I recommend Action Replay DSI. It works in DS, DS Lite, and DSI.
How do you use action replay on Pokemon SoulSilver?
you can find codes online, or download action replay code manager with the disc you got with the action replay. Use the cord to plug it in. Then drag soulsilver from the box in the top right, to the bottom right, then to the big box on the right. Make sure your action replay is plugged in. If you are using action replay dsi, plug it in without the system. If you are doing in with action replay ds, plug it in with the ds. Make sure that the ds says to plug it in after you press the button with the cord on it.

There are no codes for lv99 but there is one for shiny Pokemon but it's hugemungusly big so I'm not posting try usins the cheat for rare candies.

When you are in the Action Replay ds main screen, make sure your game is inserted that you want to hack, then, hit the little green asterisk (*) sign at the lower left corner. Now, you should see all of the codes you have for that particular game. To activate the codes, highlight the one that you want to activate, then hit either the A button or the green asterisk (*) button in the lower left (or right) corner. Once you have finished checking off the codes you want, hit the big red start button. Happy Hacking!! (Some codes can be used on wifi...)
