You don't need to have anyone do it, if you push the menu button or you radio and cycle through till it says oil life reset, then push the enter button and hold it till it says 100%. I have done this several times since I change my own oil. Disconnection the battery will work, but you will lose all the info (like radio presets etc.) and there's no reason to do that.
