First of all open your picture and press D to set default the foreground and background color... and then give a layer mask to your layer and then press B to select brush tool and reduce the opacity of brush and then play with brush on your image.. you will see the image is fading.. now play with opacity of brush bcos it will effect the fade effect...

Easy way:Create an ellipse marquee, fill it with the last colour (ROY G BIV), violet. Next duplicate it and shrink it with free transform (Ctrl + T), hold Shift and scale it down. Fill this with the next colour, indigo. Do this until you have the full range in circles like a target. Then use the rectangle marquee tool to cut it in half high-wise and voila, you have a rainbow. Use masking with a soft brush to fade the ends and turn down the opacity of the layer.Realistic way:Google "Photoshop realistic rainbow". I found one probably suitable result instantly.
'Fade' can indeed be a noun - as in 'a fade to black' in a movie. Fade is its own noun.
Apply an ice pad, comb it out with a toothbrush or soft brush, massage the area. Put foundation or powder on it or wear a turtleneck or scarf to cover it up immediately.
