You have to start with 011(it's the international dialing code) then Thailand's country code that is 66, then the city code (Bangkok is 2) then the fax's phone number. 011-66-fax number
011 is the international exit code for the USA, 66 is the international country code for Thailand.
If the fax number starts with a + or 0, drop it from the calling sequence. As well, Thai phone numbers may have 66 (their country code) in brackets at the start of the phone number - don't dial the 66 twice in the calling sequence.
