You don't. There is no place for the average consumer to either check the Transmission Fluid (no dip stick) nor add transmission fluid.
A mechanic told me it has to be brought to the dealership. There's no radiator cap either.
Yes
If it is a auto then it is bolted into the transmission. You will see the yellow knob sticking out of the top of the trans with a bolt right below it. Unbolt that bolt and there you go.
the ion vt trans is ran by belts on the inside not gears, Saturn never even sold replacement parts for it so if it goes out u got to buy a new one
Saturn is the make, ion is the model.
Saturn Ion was created in 2003.
No, the 2003 Saturn is Either an L series or At Saturn Ion, you need a 96 thru 2002 auto trans from an S series, 2002 is the last year of the S series, if you have a Single overhead cam (SOHC) engine you will need to get on from a single, if you have a Twin cam (DOHC) you will need a trans from a duel over head cam engine. The main reason you cant use a single on a double and vise versa in that the cars with singles have 14 inch tires and the DOHC cars have 15 inch wheels, this will not have the proper shift points in the trans.

takes 4.5-5 liters to fill up when doing an oil change
